Since the first merchant bank was established on the island in 1963, Guernsey has developed into a world-class international financial centre with an excellent reputation. The financial services industry is well-established and is the biggest employer on the island. Its areas of specialism can be broken down into four main sectors: banking, funds, insurance, and trust & fiduciary.
GuernseyFinance is a joint industry and Government initiative that defends and promotes the long term reputation, stability and development of Guernsey as an international centre of excellence for financial services.
