Immigration & Relocation
Guernsey offers an enviable lifestyle, but due to its small size a system of housing control is in place to control population growth.
Basically, this means that if you are a British citizen, or have the right to live in the UK, or are a national from a European Economic Area or Switzerland, then you have the right to live and work in Guernsey. This is, however, subject to you meeting certain requirements under Guernsey’s housing control laws and these contain strict rules as to who may occupy property in the island. You cannot work in Guernsey unless you can prove that you are legally housed (see the Housing section of this site for more information about this).

Relocation Services
Moving home or starting a new job can sometimes be very stressful experiences. There is a great deal to do to make sure that everything is taken care of and nothing overlooked. That’s where using Relocation Services can be helpful. Some estates agencies, law firms or Relocation Agents can help provide these services.
